How great are cell phone cameras?
Can yours auto focus or is there a linit with distances and stuff. I have a chance to get a cheap iphone but it has a 2 mega pixel camera. Clearity is so important to me I thinkk I need at least a 5 mega pixel camera on my cell phone but if i bump up my iphone from a g3 to a g4 I get the clarity and loose the deal. So HOw great are these cameras anyway? Do you really love yours please include how many mega pixel and how it works for you with flash and distance or even autofocus. thanks
I have the iphone g3 and g4 listed. so perhaps i am talking about the differences between these two phones in specific but thanks for trying giovanni.
The cell phone you’re probably looking at is a iPhone 3G or iPhone 2G. I had a 3G, and the camera is OK. It can’t focus, or take videos, so the pictures are sub-par. Those phones are around 2-3 years old so you can expect what kind of quality the pictures will be. I recently upgraded to the 3GS. The pictures are way better than the 3G pictures. Things focus perfectly and it’s very quick to take photos. It’s 3 MegaPixels and can even do white balance and exposure. Also, it can take videos.
